Thorough but effective for the job, a massive part of the process is to ensure you are the correct community/ culture fit, not just skill based. Because of the emotional and empowering space the studio creates, management have to ensure your values align with the nature of the work. After submitting my CV I did a Loom video answering a few questions, I then had a zoom interview and was invited in for an audition where I could show my practical skills. This was with a previous guest and I was given her notes and they had 45 minutes to do her makeup and hair. I was then offered trail days and a training period (paid) and after a few shifts I knew I wanted to be apart of the company long term!
