In an interview with the owner and 1 advisor, the initial impression was professional. They had questions to explore my experience and knowledge which were fair and reasonable. They did not answer my questions regarding their plans for growth, my specific role, or my compensation package. Ultimately, the interview process was time consuming, circular, and inconclusive. The owner made several initial verbal offers that he later declined to uphold.
