I applied online, and one month after, the HR email me to schedule a phone interview date with the interviewer. the phone call came as expected. It was competency-based and took 20 mins.

I was contacted by Bloomberg HR for a summer internship in London, after sitting in the online system for several weeks, and I'm an American. I had known there were going to be major hurdles not being an EU or UK citizen, but to have gone through a promising screening interview only to have the second stage interview canceled on the same day apparently due to citizenry was unpleasant. It makes Bloomberg seem disorganized.
