I applied through university. I interviewed at Bloomberg
Interview
I am interviewing with an HR representative. HR will introduce the company and the position first. Most of the questions are behavioral questions, including multi-tasking abilities, communication abilities. Firstly, she asked me to go over the resume.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Crystal City, VA) in Apr 2025
Interview
2 round interview. First with recruiter (who was great) and second with two potential supervisors. First interview discusses basic qualifications, benefits, etc. and the second interview was the "actual interview" asking very surface level questions about sales, one of the interviewers had little disinterest in being there and it was hard to take her answers seriously because she seemed miserable and hated her job despite climbing the corporate ladder.
They also asked questions about a new-grad program that was not even listed on the job posting nor website which caught me off guard. Essentially looking for college graduates to do grunt work from ground up and not anyone with real sales experience.
