Whats your interest of financial markets on a scale of 1-10? I answered honestly, said I was interested but know there's always room for learning more. What's the difference between a bond and a stock?
Recent news story you've been following.
I offered a lot of information to show I'd done research into the company eg. I think I'd be really suited to working here as BB's ethic promotes volunteer work, being green and focusing on your health then I gave examples of how I'm similar in these ways.

I applied through university. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Mar 2026
Interview
- On campus coffee chat --> resume screening --> hirevue --> on campus follow up --> first round interview with sales and analytics leads --> final round in NYC with analytics and sales managers
Online interview then super day. The interviewers were very nice. Had a good conversation. Mostly behaviorals. Just want to make sure you have basic understanding of markets. Overall it was not that hard.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Sydney) in Sep 2024
Interview
Just overall bad experience. First they make you do a whole psychometric test that tries to trick you. Basically just select all the answers that make you seem like an "yappy extroverted" person to get through this round. Then do their interview. Their interview was most likely not watched by anyone because they rejected in just 2 days. My tip for future candidates is try to smile the whole time like their reporters on tv, and if you are a smooth talker you'll likely get through this round. Other reviews say they have three or four other interview rounds. Idk if that's true from my end but the number of rounds is a big red flag.
