Process was slow moving, took about a month and a half. Saw the recruiter post the position on LinkedIn, reached out and then applied on the website. From there had an initial phone screening. Next was a video meeting with one of the Senior Paralegals on the team, went very well she was very easy to talk to. Recruiter told me I received great feedback and was also very transparent about it being between me and one other person for the role which I appreciated. Took a little over 2 weeks to set up the next step which was the final interview stage with 4 people 30 min each. Went great, everyone was so nice. Recruiter told me she was already receiving great feedback on my interviews. Waited a little over a week only to get the news from the recruiter that the team went with an internal candidate that came into the process late. Was not expecting this since the recruiter told me from the beginning it was me and one other person and they chose the internal over both of us. I think for the company and for the overall candidate experience hiring managers should look into the internal candidates first so not to waste peoples time or get anyone's hopes up who maybe really need the job for whatever reasons. Still love Square and hope there is anther role ill be a fit for in the future
