It was more like a chat instead of a strict boss to employee interview, although this opinion might depend on who interviews you. I was asked about my previous employment and why I wanted to join them. It seemed to me like a rather small company so I'm unsure about whether or not there was potential career development.

A quick phone call. 2 in person interviews. A really long take home assignment. The COO makes faces and does most of the talking to convince you to join their sad, sinking company.
