The first interview was on campus, and was highly technical (company valuation, where markets are heading, oil prices) but also very conversational, which left me feeling great about the process. There were no direct classic behavioral questions, but that was determined by the technical conversation that determines if you can hold a conversation and speak of the markets. Then I head back about 2 weeks later inviting me to the office on a Friday. This turned out to be a superday, where there were 4 of the final candidates for the position including me. We had interviews with 6 people in the office, basically everyone including the partners, and all but one interview this day were behavioral solely. It was 2.5hrs of interviews, and I left with the feeling I did quite well and would receive an offer, but 1.5 weeks later they informed me I was not selected.
