I got all the way to the final interview. They had me make a presentation based off something they were currently doing. After I spent hours preparing and presented they ghosted me. Very unprofessional and disappointing. It almost feels like they were only after my work.

Question 1
What project management methodologies are you familiar with?
Initial interview was with the hiring manager to go over the role, company, and my qualifications. Went well enough but did not hear back about next round for another week and a half. Next interview was with the CEO, who went over basically same items as initial interview. They seemed to have different opinions on the role as the CEO seemed hung up on something that was apparent in my resume and had been discussed in the initial interview, yet was not a requirement on the JD. If it was a requirement, then why waste my time and yours? But anyway, the CEO seemed to still really like me and ended the interview by saying we'll definitely be in touch. I did not hear back for another week and a half, and had to chase down a response, only to get a canned rejection. Seems like an intriguing enough company but definitely needs to get a better-defined recruiting process in place.
