I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bella Baby Photography (Edison, NJ) in Jul 2024
Interview
I remember two interviews. First one was with HR I think. They explained the role to me. Explained how hours worked, what was expected of me, and how the commission based pay worked. She also reviewed my portfolio and I was able to expand more on my experiences. The second was an interview with a Regional Director, or Regional Manager. She confirmed that I was aware of the hours and expectations. She also followed up with similar questions to the first interview. I have heard from other photographers that you don't need to have experience in newborn photography since they train you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked for my experience as a working photographer, if I was comfortable in a medical environment, if I was comfortable with handling newborns, and if I had any sales experience
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bella Baby Photography
Interview
Emailed resume. Completed a shadow day at one of the hospitals. Got to see a few sessions in hospital with the photographer. I think maybe a call or a video chat after and then I was offered a position.

Interview
Thoughtful interview process. Nice to hear a walkthrough of the day-to-day as a photographer at a hospital. Made time to listen to my questions as well. Also training is pretty structured since you have to get prepare to work in hospital setting

Interview
One interview which was virtual. No in person interview which was nice. Very simple interview process and answering questions regarding how I would engage with hospital clients, experience with privacy laws, healthcare and photography/editing experience........
