I applied online and talked to the beatport recruiter over the phone (Jon Brill). We talked about the job and expected salary. Two weeks later they said the position was filled. Another two weeks later the recruiter reached out saying the position was open again. I then spoke with their engineering manager over the phone and got a take home test. After submitting, there was an in-person interview discussing the take home test. The weirdest part was being interviewed separately by their lawyer and HR(?). Received a phone call with an offer, but at an amount WAY lower than what the beatport recruiter initially said (20k lower). When asked to see the overall benefits package, there were no replies. I would not have interviewed if I knew this was their real salary. Overall a disappointing experience.
