The entire process took about 2 weeks. I applied online and was contacted by HR within a few days for an initial phone screen. The recruiter was friendly and asked general questions about my background, experience with pharmacy software systems, and work authorization status.
The second round was a technical interview conducted over Zoom with the team lead and a senior analyst. They asked scenario-based questions about resolving issues in pharmacy workflow, handling drug interaction alerts in an EMR system, and my experience with inventory management software. I was also given a short case to walk through how I’d troubleshoot a real-time sync failure between a POS and pharmacy database.
The final round was a behavioral interview with the director of operations. It focused more on my communication skills, adaptability, and how I handle pressure during pharmacy audits or system downtimes. I used the STAR method to describe how I resolved a compliance issue during my time at a retail pharmacy.
