Got a call from a headhunter about this job and we both agreed that my past experience was perfectly in line with this position. Had another phone interview with someone in HR at Barriersafe who felt the same. Had me take a very long assessment. Booked me a flight to Chicago for a one day horse and pony show. Had to interview with about 10 people separately-- surprised the janitor and front desk receptionist weren't included (or maybe they were and I didn't know it-- too tired from the whirlwind-of-a-day to remember). Got home about midnight the same day. Later find out they didn't think my heart was in it.... Yeah, that's why I took their 2 hour assessment, studied about the company for days, put on my best suit, got up at 3am to get to the airport, and put on a smile all day.
