Very time consuming- I had to meet with 4 different people. The first 2 were managers from 2 different stores, next was with the district manager, and last was with the head doctor at the location I'd be hired to. The process was a little confusing and I was unclear as to why I had to meet with so many people for this position. They were considering offering me a shift lead position as it was really needed according to their district manager. Also the new manager hired for that location did not have an animal hospital background at all. During the process they also weren't coming close to meeting my salary requirements and that was another reason to try for the shift lead position so that I could have a higher pay scale. Evidently this company has a fixed corporate scale. Good luck getting what you're worth if you've been in this industry for a long time and are already making a good hourly wage. This entire process took about a month to complete and in the end I was given the run around by the manager of whether I was still being considered and if so if the wage requirement was able to be met. Ultimately this did not happen. I recieved a call a few months later from their recruiting office offering me an interview at another location and I declined stating they could not begin to meet salary requirements and I'd wasted a lot of time with the previous interiew process. Years ago I interviewed with them in another state and it was nothing like this. Very streamline at one location. The only odd thing is that during your working interview you are not allowed to touch animals, speak with clients, or demonstrate really any skills aside from talking and relating to what's happening. You must sign a paper prior to starting that you will not touch any animals and if you do your interview will be stopped right away and the process is over.

The interview process was easy to schedule and see through, especially if you are confident in your skills. Basic questions were asked, nothing too challenging. This is a corporate vet clinic. Have your resume ready to reference.
