- I applied online
- Received a call on the same day I applied. Caller asked if I was available on Tuesday for an interview and exam at 1pm sharp, she then asked quick questions (My address, phone number, etc.) And gave me directions to their building and what I should bring. (Resume, TOR, NSO, valid ID, and 2x2 picture)
- On the day on my interview, I arrived at 12nn. I passed my requirements to the front desk and waited 2hours to take the exam.
You will take 3 exams, which is all timed and papers must be passed right away as soon as the alarm rings.
For business courses, the exams consists of an essay, personality test, and accounting.
Accounting is required for all business courses.
- Once I was done taking the exam, I waited for my name to be called for my interview.
My interview was taken by someone in HR. The interview is more about resume, yourself, your preferred position and location, etc.
Honestly, the interviewer (and everyone else in the building) was very lifeless, emotionless and uninterested. They are almost robotic.
I was all smiles while I introduced myself and the interviewer just stared blankly at me and didn't even crack a smile and I felt so awkward. She looked bored.
- They then gave me a form to fill out. I passed it and then they said I should wait within 2-3 wks whether I got my preferred job and location. If I don't, they said that my application will last for 6 months.. so I don't have to apply again. Once 6 months has passed, I can apply again if I am still interested. (Wow)
As a fresh graduate.. my experience applying in BDO was terrible. They are not welcoming at all (except for the guard, he was the only one who seems to have a soul) the environment is sad and it almost made me change my mind on applying.
I've applied to different companies.. this is by far the worst. I understand they must be tired or something, but I think that it is very unprofessional to act that way. They all looked dead inside.
