I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Baker McKenzie (Hong Kong) in Apr 2019
Interview
Two associates of the firm and the head of the department attended the interview. They ask broad questions about your past experience and then more specific questions about the role to see if your experience matches what they are looking for. They will allow you to speak at length without interrupting.

the interview process was well structured, the interviewers were respectful. I wouldn't say it was difficult, yet I had to be well prepared. I was asked questions of my experience and laws of Kazakhstan
For a position as a young lawyer, I was asked about my previous experience that I gained while working as an intern for other law firms, specifically related to the field I was applying for.

Question 1
What were your responsibilities in your previous internships?
Horrible interview, My Partner was on a power trip and was rude. Traumatising experience- never again Unfair interview process as well, all applicants asked different questions so it was inequitable. Also got the vibe that the firm lacked diversity and just pretended to care about diversity but really did not.
