Completed a vacation scheme and had a training contract interview at the end of it. The TC interview was with two partners who I had not worked with during the scheme. The partners I had in my interview were honestly really awful, and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and seemed to scoff at everything I said. This was shocking as it was completely different to the culture of the firm that I had been exposed to during the vacation scheme. My feedback was extremely positive from the departments and people I had actually worked for, and the only reason I was not offered the training contract was due to the interview, where I felt stifled and ridiculed for an hour. Never experienced anything like that before or subsequently at any other firm.
