I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Bain & Company (London, England) in Sep 2008
Interview
I was contacted by a headhunter about this position, who coordinated the two round interview process. Their offices were very professional, well-appointed, and quiet.
Initial interview consisted of a panel interview of employees from HR and the recruiting departments. Questions were all fairly standard around my experiences within recruitment and motivation for moving to Bain.
The second round interview consisted of a one on one interview with a recruiting manager, followed by an interview with a consultant. The recruiting manager was very friendly and asked quite similar questions to the first round interview. The interview with the consultant was much more focused on my personality, interests, and reasons for living in London - I feel this was more about cultural fit within Bain.
