I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Backroads (Berkeley, CA) in Jan 2013
Interview
Long process - Written application, phone interview, and then you have to fly to Berkeley on your own dime to interview with a group at the home office. The day in Berkeley is intense with a full day of presentations, role playing, socializing, language testing, and bike mechanics. The day is pretty intense with about 50 other people and a lot of employees asking you questions. You split into groups and get tested on certain scenarios, etc. At least it's thorough because you have a lot of responsibility and autonomy in the field.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Backroads (Florence) in Feb 2026
Interview
Quattro fasi di colloquio, arrivata fino ad hiring event,ma non assunta.
Non in linea con l'azienda, nonostante la pregressa esperienza. Sarebbe stato meglio simulare un accompagnamento invece di fare giochini di ruolo.
