      I interviewed at Babylist

      Interview

Process took around 4 weeks (which is extremely long). Started with a recruiter screen, then a hiring manager interview. Then moved onto the loop which was spaced across 2 weeks. Overall process was fine, but questions and role descriptions were chaotic. They said they went with someone else, but had originally told me no one else was interviewing for the role. The people currently in the company do not have a clear understanding on what they want and did not have a unified understanding on the role itself. In hindsight, after I saw that the discrepancies I should have withdrawn after the two interviews rather than continuing. Had I moved on, there would have also been a case study. 6 total interviews and 1 case study for a company that acts like a start up.
