Applied via LinkedIn and was emailed a request for a video chat. After the first round, I received an email that they would be extending the position hours and changing the pay from salaried to hourly. I agreed to the new terms via email correspondence. I then received a call from the interviewer asking about my unrelated part-time job. I told her I would not quit my part-time job without receiving an official offer. She seemed to understand and we hung up. I received a rejection letter a week later. I was a little disappointed because I wanted to stay in the real estate/home renovation sector. I've been having to take whatever I can since my layoff two years ago, but I think I dodged a bullet; this place seems like a mess.
