The overall experience was very disappointing. I was first approached by senior resourcing manager to conduct a short phone interview. After scheduling the interview, she never called while i waited next to my mobile. It was rescheduled, and she did the same thing again! It took me 3 weeks to get her to speak with me. I passed that stage and the stage after that. In my last stage which was 1:1 with the directors, they showed NO interest in what i had to say. They repeated a set of questions twice. While i talked they looked at the walls, and even their watches. Nonetheless, i thought i did really well, said all the right things and had the EXACT skills they required. Next day i got rejected, saying i did not look committed enough. This reason was utterly disappointing and unprofessional. I wouldnt chase the recruiter for 3 weeks if i wasnt committed. Only if they knew how much i needed this job, financially and emotionally and how hard i worked to get this.
