I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BNL Technical Services (Richland, WA) in Oct 2012
Interview
I had sent BNL Technical Services a resume several years before the contact and called them with updates once or twice a year. I was contacted by phone by the Human Resources Manager and asked if I was interested in a 3-week assignment (which eventually ended up as a 3-year assignment). When I replied yes, then a one-to-one in-person interview was set up within the next couple days. The in-person interview went well, and I started my contract assignment the following week.

Question 1
Do you have Hanford Site experience (e.g., editing procedures, reports, working with the Hanford computer software and intranet)?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at BNL Technical Services in Jul 2014
Interview
Was taken to lunch to discuss the potential job opportunity. Discussed expectations and that if I wanted to make this a part-time job I could take days off when there was a down-time (no recruiting due to no request for proposals). I responded, saying I could usually find something to do when we were not busy, and if I needed to I would probably be taking every other Fri off to be with my spouse. The next day I was called into the office for another interview with the VP and CEO. That went smoothly and they asked me to start the following Monday
