I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at BC Tech Association (Vancouver, BC)
Interview
Long interview, revealed low (senior manager) salary at very end and asked if I would be willing to accept it. People, if you have a government mandated salary cap, and salary is not negotiable, put it in the ad!
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at BC Tech Association (Vancouver, BC) in Aug 2017
Interview
I had my first interview in August and the process dragged on for about 3 months until I found another position. I spoke with over four employees including someone on their senior leadership team. After that, they had told me that the role changed and so did the salary since my first interview. I still gave them the opportunity to present an offer and they said they were still interviewing and would take a few more weeks. Between every email correspondence they took weeks to respond. What an unprofessional organization that has no issue stringing people along for months. If this is any indication of how they operate as an organization, I would stay away.
