I applied online. I interviewed at BBVA (Houston, TX) in Feb 2016
Interview
applied online, was called by an hr admin with further questions such as experience and salary requirements and then told a branch manager would contact me if necessary. the branch manager scheduled an interview for the following day. friendly interview, lasted about an hour, he spoke about his expectations and asked questions of my previous employment and any experience I had in sales since the bank has goals on "referrals" he handed me his business card and said he would forward my info to the DM to schedule a second interview. no call after one week so i called to follow up-no answer and left vm. I did not receive a return call and a week later their website stated I was no longer being considered.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BBVA in Feb 2020
Interview
I went to set up an account, and they encouraged me to apply. As part of the application process, you are required to take a virtual sales assessment online (you act as a sales person helping virtual customers). There will be two interviews after that. You will be asked some sales questions. They have a sheet of questions they ask for the interview, so be ready. There were only a few situational questions. This might be different depending on location (big city vs rural area).
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BBVA (College Station, TX) in Oct 2019
Interview
Ask about your resume. If you worked insurance it's a plus since it seems similar. They give you a description but no salary. Hours seem 9-5ish. My voicemail was full and they actually texted me.

Interview
It took about a week to hear back from them and scheduling an interview time. The interview process was about any other. The HR was very friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming.
