I applied online. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at BAE Systems in Feb 2020
Interview
cannot believe the process that BAE subjected me too and how long this took. I applied online October 2020 and took the usual online tests straight away. I received an email saying I had passed them and I would hear some info in the next few weeks on the next stage. 4 months passed and I had to complete a prerecorded video interview. I shortly received news saying I had passed this stage and I was through to the next round which was a video or telephone interview. They said they would contact me within the next 4 weeks to arrange a date.
4 weeks passed and I emailed the HR department as I had not been contacted and they reassured me I would be contacted in the next two weeks, they were just overly busy. Around 8 weeks after I had recieved news that I WOULD have an interview a rejection email was sent to me stating; Although you have been successful at the initial stages in your application to BAE Systems, at this time we have not been able to progress you any further as any suitable roles have now been filled.
I was promised an interview and received nothing just a rejection email!!!
I cannot believe that such a well established big company such as BAE can treat applicants like this. It is such a joke.

Question 1
Would you say change is a positive of negative thing?
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at BAE Systems (Melbourne)
Interview
Lengthy, two or three interviews and lots of back and forth. The interviewers were professional and they went by normally. Initially the wrong team interviewed me. I was led to believe there was a local position and then there wasn’t, and then there was!

Question 1
They asked me about my relevant professional experience.
I interviewed at BAE Systems (Rochester, South East England, England)
Interview
Nice experience however I did not get the offer. As an experience overall, it was well-conducted, friendly environment and lovely people within the organization. Will recommend engineering undergraduates and graduates to apply for this graduate position in the future.

Question 1
Can describe a time when you had to take a brave and bold decision?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at BAE Systems (Barrow in Furness, England) in Sep 2025
Interview
Very self explanatory and easy going at the start. Last stage of interviews does get much harder with the technical questions side. As long as you prepare accordingly you will be fine.
