The interviews were conducted over Skype.
First interview with team lead and a technical team member, mostly getting to know each other and managing expectations from both sides.
Coding test was a "close to real-life exercise", here is a chunk of data, implement this feature, find some reasonable metrics, make tests.
Second round included a presentation of the coding test, explaining the train of thought, future considerations, and design choices. Apart from the team, this call also included people from the wider company, external data professional and a C level. Some theoretical data science/statistics related questions were asked as well as some motivation related question. Felt more like an engaging technical conversation than them trying to catch you slipping up on a topic/question.
Overall the process was very professional and pleasant.
