      Customer Service Representative Interview

      Mar 13, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Canton, OH
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Aultcare (Canton, OH) in Mar 2015

      Interview

I applied online and about a month later I was called in for an interview. They sent me detailed instructions on how to get there. After signing in, a lady in HR retrieved me and took me upstairs to start the interviewing process. She first told me all about the company, then I took a typing test right there on her computer. After I passed, she went on to interview me. After she interviewed me, 2 managers were waiting in another room so they could also interview me. They started with explaining the different departments and what each of them did, and then they took turns going through the interview questions. Took about an hour all together. About 3 days later I received a call from HR saying they would like to move forward, which involved getting 5 references to fill out an online survey about me, having a background check, a physical with blood drawn, drug test, and nicotine swab test.

      Customer Service Representative Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Aultcare in May 2014

      Interview

I applied online via Aultman's website for the customer service rep position. I received a phone call the very next day from HR and was scheduled for an interview the following week! I received an email with a website to practice the typing test and very detailed directions on how to get to the building thru the hospital and where to park. Once there, I waited a few minutes and was taken upstairs to HR by the representative. There was a short interview with the HR rep and I was given a folder with information about the company. I was given a personality test and 2 opportunities to take the typing test. Then I went into a panel interview with 2 supervisors. I was given an overview on how the job/dept works and what is expected of the employees. Then the interview questions began. In the folder of information I was given the HR rep's business card. I was told the process could take some time but it was a bit longer than I expected. I contacted HR via email 3 or 4 times. Once to thank them for taking the time to interview me and the rest to inquire as to if/when a decision had been made. About a month or so following my interview I was contacted and advised that they wanted to go further in the hiring process with me. I was sent a website to submit 5 professional references. Each reference was sent an email asking them to answer questions about my work habits, etc. While this is being done the company does their background check. Once the reference/background check came back satisfactory, I was contacted again to schedule my physical and drug screen. Once my physical cleared, I extended a verbal offer of employment and advised of the starting pay. Then we discussed a potential starting date.

      Question 1

The interview questions were pretty basic based on what I have encountered. Typical "tell me about a time when this happened and how did you handle it" type of questions. It has been awhile since I had my interview so I can't recall any difficult or unexpected questions.
