I applied through university. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Audax Group (Boston, MA) in Sep 2017
Interview
Mostly case study and behavioral questions, they don't expect a ton of financial knowledge going and they train you well once you get the gig. Applied through my campus recruiting system and had my first round at school, followed by a superday the next day. Turnaround time between interview and offer is quick.

Question 1
What are your strengths / weaknesses? Tell me about a time you led a team?
Case interview w vp first round, then another two MD cases and one HR MD for final round and then offers, the cases were guided and not open ended consulting style, felt like real applicable cases
I reached out to panelists after an online forum, and I have 100% success rate in hearing back from all of them, even VP's and MD's. The phone calls were very casual and I genuinely learned a lot about the company, its structures, and about insights into the works of PE

Question 1
Tell me about your story Be prepared to answer anything on your resume
Consulting Case Questions + Behavioral. Two rounds - first round was one case and on behavioral, second was ~4 interviews. Much more akin to a consulting style interview with 'Case in Point' style questions.
