I applied online. I interviewed at Auburn School Department (Auburn, ME) in Jul 2024
Interview
The interview took place over two rounds: a teacher/admin panel for round 1, then a second interview with the Superintendent. During the first round, there were about 8 teachers/admin present over a zoom, and they round-robined quesions. The second interview with the superintendent was much easier, probably just a, "you've been green lit, we're just double checking," and I was asked about myself, my history of teaching, etc, not specific questions about how I inform any aspect of my practice.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Auburn School Department (Auburn, ME)
Interview
Done by the technology group for whom the assistant is to support. The technology group was gathered in the directors office. They all had prepared questions for the applicants. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. This was twelve years ago.
