Interview
I had 1 recruiter screener. 1 call with a Group PM. Then I had 1 day with 5 30 minute interviews (An Engineering Manager, an Engineer, a Director of Product, a Group Product Manager, and a Product Marketing Manager. Personally, I had a really great interview process here. The Recruiter was amazingly responsive and helped me when there was a scheduling issue. Most people might find the 5 interviews in 1 day daunting, but I actually preferred it over the prolonged interview process of other companies. The highlight was the chat with the Group Product Manager, which seemed to be a substitute for a take home assignment, where we collaborated on working through a complex problem. My main con comes from the interview with the Director of Product. I would say the questions were hard, but honestly I think they were unrealistic. I was asked to give a specific number for a target market for a product I liked. I'm not great with these numbers on the fly, and typically in interviews these kind of questions are meant to help understand your thought process, even if you don't come to the correct answer. It felt slightly antagonistic and unprofessional how the questions were asked. I'd recommend that recruiting train this leader on his interview skills and review his questions ahead of time. I've talked to multiple other Senior level PMs and they said this line of questioning is unrealistic and unwarranted. But overall, I had a great experience getting to know the team.

Question 1
We ran an exercise where the Group PM laid out a scenario where you have to create an internal product that helps translate requirements from Insurance Product Managers to Engineers for them to build. It was complex and a great thought exercise.

Interview
- 1st interview was a Recruiter Screen - 2nd interview was Product Design case - I didn't get past this step Overall the experience was okay, if I were prepared to answer a product design case question it would've been better.
