The process was very easy, and the manager was very welcoming and friendly. Laid out expectations and responsibilities. Gave a clear idea of salary. Just be yourself, don't overthink it.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Atria Senior Living (Houston, TX) in May 2019
Interview
Interviewed with RSD and memory care manager. Simple and standard 20 minute interview. Because of the offer of a lower pay than what I originally wanted, I interviewed with the Executive Director the next day. Met with her and had a one on one conversation and was offered a little more than first offer.

Question 1
If a resident was to say something was missing from their room or that you specifically was to blame for the missing item, what would you do?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Atria Senior Living (Albany, NY)
Interview
The interview is quick and easy. They want to make sure you're a polite person with good social skills and patience. It took a few days to get in for the interview but I was offered a position on the spot assuming that I would pass a drug test. I started working within one week of being hired. The shifts are 7 to 3, 3 to 11, and 11 to 7, standard healthcare hours. At night when the residents are asleep it can get boring sitting around for hours, but the atmosphere is so nice and welcoming I don't mind. If all of your jobs are completed for the time being they encourage you to mingle with the residents. Overall I like working here except for the late nights. I would recommend this as a job for someone interested in nursing to make sure you are able to deal with these things.
