I was referred by a recruiter, did a brief phone interview and was asked back for an in person interview. On the good side, the company puts forward a clean, efficient, friendly atmosphere and gives the impression of prosperity and growth. With all due respect to the people involved, I felt that each step of the way the job description shifted. The job as described by the recruiter was described differently by the first interviewer, and then even moreso by the second interviewer. I felt that management had an unreasonably simplistic view of the challenges facing the incumbent and I was unwilling to put myself in his position.
