The Atlanta History Center is a very sophistocated organization with ambitious plans. It is the premier history center in the Southeast. Human Resources is very controlled and dedicated to locating a target group: young reserved, but engaging. However, almost no local people get jobs at the Center. A Master"s is almost a must for anything above hourly admissions.
Job opportunities apear on the website and occasionally in non-profit sites like Opportunity Knocks. A resume is submitted along with cover letter and then an interview is one on one. If passed to the next rung, an interview with the head of HR would be necessary. He makes all of the final decisions.
He knows exactl what he wants so there is no real way to predict. Being from out of state, very low keyed and
sincere will help.
