The interview process was straightforward. They are mostly interested in your problem solving abilities and how you work with other people. Mostly behavioral questions to assess your teamwork skills and personality. I’d recommend being open and honest and following the STAR method.

I applied online. I interviewed at Aspen Institute in Dec 2025
Interview
I was contacted by hiring manager about a month after I applied to have a first-round interview. The interview was very short, I was only asked a handful of questions, which I found strange. I honestly thought the interview went extremely well other than that. I was comfortable and had well-prepared answers, and the hiring manager seemed to receive them well. I was very shocked to find the rejection email in my inbox after the holidays. I guess you can do everything right and still get rejected.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aspen Institute (Washington, DC) in Nov 2025

Applied online. Heard back after 2 weeks. Short 15 minute call with Hiring Manager. Questions covered project management experience, why I wanted to work at a mission-led company, experience of using tools to manage projects, experience of working with people from different backgrounds.
