From the very first call, I clearly stated that my expected salary was 30 LPA. After successfully clearing two technical rounds, I was called for an HR discussion, during which I informed their team that I had received an offer of 33 LPA. I even shared the offer letter when asked and submitted all the personal documents requested by their team.
Since then, I had followed up for over a month with no proper response. Each time, I was given different and vague reasons for the delay in releasing the offer. Later, I was told that 33 LPA is on the higher side and that the budget is 28 LPA.
Frankly, if there was no budget or intent to match the compensation, the process should not have been initiated in the first place. Conducting multiple interviews, collecting documents, and then disappearing without closure is highly unprofessional. It shows a lack of respect for the candidate’s time and effort.
