      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Ascensus

      Interview

I had a very bad experience interviewing with this company. I was contacted by a recruiter she told me what they were targeting for salary, it was very low to what I was asking for and what I was already making, told her my range and she said she wanted to set me up for an interview and implied my salary requirements wouldn’t be a problem. I didn’t have a phone screening just emailed about the salary and setting up the interview. The interview was great, I was asked great questions and was able to get a feel for the team and how the department works. I had a good feeling after the interview, I asked about the timeline and next steps. I was told they were still interviewing into next week but will make a decision by the following week and I will receive an email about references. The next week I get an email for references but also an email to setup another interview, they said they just wanted a second opinion, I was annoyed because they never mentioned another interview but I set it up and it also went well. 2 weeks later, which is now 2 weeks from when I was told I would hear back I received an offer from another company. I contacted the recruiter and told her I had another offer and when I needed to give them my decision. She quickly responds says she will get back to me, the same day she implies I had gotten the job but there were just a few things they needed to do on their end to match my salary requirements and I will have an offer from them by tomorrow. I followed up the day my current offer expired and I heard nothing back, the next week I again am told they are still working on the offer. It has now been a month and I haven’t heard a thing from them, this is incredibly disrespectful and wrong. I feel the recruiter lied to me from the start about the salary just so she could have me interview and when the hiring manager wanted to move forward with an offer she finally told them about the salary discrepancy. *I received an offer a month later, it was significantly lower than my given expectations.
