      Systems Administrator Interview

      Dec 13, 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Artech L.L.C.

      Interview

After being approached by an Artech recruiter I provided my resume and references. Artech proceeded harassing myself and my references for an ever growing list of information. This smells as a complete scam.

      Systems Administrator Interview

      Jul 20, 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Artech L.L.C. (Toronto, ON)

      Interview

Recruiter contacted first in Linkedin then phone and email. Recruiter is somehow friendly but not too professional. The recruiter needs to listen actively and not just hear what the candidate was saying to ensure the questions are understood. I get a sense of urgency in the initial stage where my profile will be submitted which is good. I got scheduled for next interviews and received support through interview preparation call with an account manager which i find valuable. Got interviewed by hiring manager and team member from the prospective client/employer. Seem to have went well. Was told a decision to be made on a certain date. I had a hard time getting clear next steps or status after the interview - whether i got considered or not. Getting mixed signals. It would be great to be informed whether there is an update or not or still waiting to hear from the client if still considered for the role. It helps with having a good candidate experience. In addition, the survey request needs to be sent out after the whole recruitment process is completed not after the application has been forwarded to the client for review as there is no significant experience review that can be provided. I would suggest that phone numbers used in calling would reflect the company name to prevent the call being considered a spam caller. Was communicating with the recruiter via Linkedin message, asked for a resume and availability. I sent a resume with phone details. Wasn't expecting a random call and got a voice mail. Wasn't able to answer because I was in a meeting at work. In another day, I got another missed call and recruiter requested to call them back because I missed the call. I called in good faith only to find out that they got what they needed. It would be best to setup a schedule for the phone call instead of calling right away. With phone call spams nowadays, it would be a better experience for both candidate and the recruiter. Setting expectation is key.
