I interviewed with the recruiter, then then several teammates, then with the CEO. The process was very quick and efficient. I was given the offer letter in less than 3 weeks.
From the beginning of the interview, it felt rushed. It didn’t feel like he actually wanted to get to know me, but more so check off boxes to complete the interview. Because of this in the nature of the interview, I didn’t feel at ease. He asked me one question that I felt was a trick question, and because my answer didn’t lineup with what he was looking for, 15 minutes he said I wasn’t a fit. I knew the answer to this question looking back, but because of how rushed it felt and his lack of engagement, I wasn’t able to properly process. I feel this is a blessing in disguise that this is not a company I want to work for anyway.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Arootah in Feb 2023
Interview
Four meetings: recruiter call, virtual panel, a procotored assessment and then the president. All over zoom. Assessment was made up of about 6 tests, and editing exercise and a written assignment.
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you had the opportunity to meet with various team members throughout the process. We understand that the assessments and multiple rounds of interviews can be extensive, and we appreciate your participation and effort.
