Interview
First stage phone interview. Second stage at the London office involves reporting exercise, numerical test, price assessment problems and reporters initiative test. After the tests it is a face to face interview. Interview focused around reasoning behind answers given within the tests; opportunity to expand on answers etc. Final face to face Interview with Managing Editor.
Started with a screening call followed by a testing and then interviews with the hiring committee. The team was friendly and transparent about the role’s expectations and growth opportunities. Overall engaging and insightful experience.

Interview
Screening with TA, testing, VC with hiring manager then F2F in office.
Testing was on amazon workspace, around 100 minutes and completed at home, VC with HM as they were based overseas before being invited to office for final round.

Question 1
Understanding of the specific commodity I was interviewing for.
Initial interview with HR representative. After that was called in for Assessment and interview with the team including manager of the relevant desk. Essays summary some basic calculations not very difficult overall but was timed and overseen by HR.
