I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Argonne National Laboratory (Houston, TX) in Feb 2022
Interview
There is a technical video session with the hiring manager and his team, following which there is a second-round where you present your research work and get asked technical questions about your work. You meet various people from the department for 30-45 mins and they ask you questions.

Question 1
I was asked specifically not to present my Ph.D. work which is outside the norm. They asked me to present something related to their work, this worked against me so do not do this. I asked for feedback and they said I should have rather presented my Ph.D. work, which is of course contradictory to what they asked me to do.
