Some of the people I have met at this company are genuinely enjoyable to be around. The workload is reasonable and appropriate for what to expect.
I have been working at Apogee Results part-time for less than a year
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apogee Results (Austin, TX) in Jan 2015
Interview
I found out about Apogee through my College Career services department. I went to an info session and scheduled an interview for the next day. The interview took place on campus and was about half an hour long. We walked while talking, which was a nice break from typical interviews.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Apogee Results in Jan 2016
Interview
I was brought in for a 2 hour interview before actually speaking with anyone. The first hour consisted of a reasonably difficult written test of my SEO knowledge, and the second hour was an in-person interview with two managers. Both of the managers were friendly and intelligent, though not particularly passionate or seeming like they enjoyed their jobs. The office environment that I saw was pretty soulless (in a non-descript office park), but I wasn't offered a tour or the opportunity to meet any other employees, which was a little odd for such a small company.
My biggest issue was the lack of communication after I had invested my time. Several emails I sent to their recruiter to check in were completely ignored. Four months after my initial interview, I was finally told they were looking for someone with more technical SEO experience. The whole experience just felt poorly handled and a bit disrespectful.
