I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ansys (Pittsburgh, PA)
Interview
I submitted my resume to ANSYS during a career fair on campus. Since I am located in Pittsburgh as is their main office, I was called for an on-site interview. Initially there were some HR questions, nothing different from the usual expected ones. Then, a technical interview with 3 members of the team. It was quite difficult in terms of writing optimized efficient code on the spot and modifying as per their new challenging restrictions.

Question 1
They asked questions mainly on linked list and sorting and various corner cases of sorting.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ansys in Feb 2020
Interview
The interview process (up until the step I last interviewed) :
1st : Recruiter Screen - Resume and role specific questions
2nd : Manager Screen - Resume questions mostly for the manager to familiarize with my profile.
3rd : Panel Interview - This was during the COVID outbreak so, they conducted web conference interview. (I assume) Technical and General.
Received no offer or update after this call despite myself reaching out to the manager. But I figure that's how they handle the "no offer" results. I do feel that the company can improve their practice in this area as it seems to be a running sentiment among many experiences on Glassdoor.

Question 1
Mostly resume stuff, technical depending upon your background, basic programming and debugging questions.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Ansys (Pune) in Apr 2019
Interview
First round: Two tests viz., an aptitude test (speed test) with negative marking for 30 minutes and a visualization test (no negative marking) for 45 minutes
Second round: If you clear the first round, then there is a technical interview
Third round: If you clear the second one, then there is an HR interview
The aptitude test is quite easy, 20 questions to solve in 30 minutes. Note that as there's negative marking, just attempt the questions that you can solve correct. Refer the RS Agarwal quantitative aptitude book. For the visualization test, problems on ortho-iso projections/views and geometric missing views (7 questions). Attempt all the questions as there's no negative marking. Free hand sketches are acceptable, but I suggest to first attempt the questions that you can solve properly using scale and then go for free hand in case of time exhaustion. Refer the ND Bhatt Engineering Drawing book.

Interview
I met recruiters at various job fairs and applied online. Eventually one of the employees looking for an intern contacted me for an interview. It was just one short phone screening, and then I was hired.
