My interview with Anntoine Marketing brought up multiple red flags and issues that I would later deal with down the line. The process was as follows: My first interview was setup with two members of the team, both in management. After successfully completing the first interview, I received a call back to come for a second interview (here’s where things get tricky). I arrived for my interview ten minutes early and waited patiently for it to begin, no problem there. However, Thirty minutes after the scheduled interview time, one of the owners brought me in to start the interview, because the other owner was running late. After going through the interview process, the other owner came in, slammed her purse down on the conference room table, and asked me my name. Throughout the rest of the interview, the owner asked what my name was another three times, and was pre-occupied with fidgeting with drink coasters, texting on her phone, and asking my inappropriate questions (such as: “Do you have a girlfriend?”). It were these red flags combined that showed the issues I would have later on when working at Anntoine. After the completion of the interview, I waited patiently to receive a call back regarding an offer or denial. After a week goes by, I received a call stating that I got the job and that an offer letter would be sent the following day — it wasn’t. Another week later and a few phone calls later, that letter finally arrived via email. The letter itself was incomplete, so I notified the owner of a few corrections that needed to be made. Two days later, those corrections were made and I was signed on to work at Anntoine. — Overall a very easy interview process, but with multiple red flags that showed during my employment with this company.
