      Interview

Interviewing with AB is a multi-step process. You first have to pass a culture test and an online assessment about your general sales experience before getting an interview. My interview was performed via Skype with two managers working in different offices. It was about an hour long and somewhat tough, so be prepared to talk about the future of the beer industry and what you can contribute to AB. The next and final step in the interview process is to participate in a panel interview with other candidates and execs. Although the final round interview was intimidating, I felt that it was over-hyped. I had been told horror stories about past candidates running out in tears, etc, but I was honestly kind of sad when the execs stopped asking us questions and the interview ended. I enjoyed the final round interview because it gave me the opportunity to show management what I knew about AB and why I would be a great fit while working with the other candidates in my panel and bouncing ideas off of them. My advice to candidates who have made it to this interview step would be: do lots of research about the company. Know all of AB's major brands and any recent news about them. Have good ideas for ways they can innovate to stay relevant in the future, because that is always top of mind with execs. Keep calm during the interview, and use the other candidates in your panel as teammates rather than competitors.
