Applied online via their site and was contacted a couple days later for a phone interview. Interview went good so I was asked to come in for a face to face later on in the week which they scheduled later in the day. I met with 3 different people and asked a series of questions related to my background. They told me that my background matched the position and so I thought I had a good chance. They said they are expecting to make an decision by the end of next week. Interview ended very well. The next day I sent them a thank you email to shoot it home but got no response. I waited till the end of when they planned on making the decision to call the hiring manager. I kept getting her answering machine. I called with a different number and she finally picked up. Needless to say, she was caught off guard and told me that its a big company, plans and focus change and that they are still looking to make a decision but couldn't give me an idea. That was enough for me. The company obviously isn't serious about this position. Also screening calls is completely unprofessional.
