I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Anchor Sign (Charleston, SC) in Mar 2011
Interview
An acquaintance who worked in another department of the company suggested I submit a resume, which I did. I then stopped by to drop a copy off in person to my contact, who was able to track down HR and get me a brief face-to-face meeting. I was called back for a formal interview a couple days later. I met with the design supervisor who mostly wanted to know how much experience I had with certain types of software, predominantly CorelDraw. After a couple of weeks, I followed up with HR and was offered a position.
The interview process was a bit unclear and confusing. I had a converstation on the phone with one person and then waited for a long to before I reached back out. Finally met with the same person and a long conversation about my interest. I was supposed to get feedback but never heard from anyone from the company. The process didn't feel respectful to my time and effort.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Anchor Sign (Charleston, SC) in May 2021
Interview
The initial interview was very nice and welcoming, and I got to see how everything worked in the process as well. Hearing about the company’s history and goals was very intriguing. It was a nice opportunity!
