I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amotec (Cleveland, OH) in Apr 2019
Interview
Three part interview, with tour and overview. I was asked to prepare a business plan and to present it during the interview. This was done with the CEO and was then parted out after the presentation to show how he thought the ideas and plan could work with the role they were hiring for.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amotec (New York, NY)
Interview
An "Executice Recruiter" reached out to me about a potential good fit. I'm not actively pursuing other employment; however, I responded via email and phone saying I was interested in discussing further as it sounded like a solid opportunity and I met the requirements of the role. I haven't heard anyhing from the recruiter and it's been over a week. Don't waste someone's time, especially if you reached out to them. It's bad enough that candidates ghost recruiters, but now there are recruiters ghosting candidates and candidates are in the same field.
