Amorphology interview questions

About a week after applying, I received a phone call from Jordan at Amorphology inviting me in to interview at their location in Pasadena. After a brief tour, the interview lasted about 2ish hour. I met with Jordan as well as one of the executives for the first hour, and the second hour one on one with Jordan. Overall I felt it went fine. I received an offer from Amorphology, and accepted. Because I had an upcoming trip planned, we planned a start date about 5 or 6 weeks out. One week before I was scheduled to start, as I was training my replacement at work, I received a phone call from Amorphology. They had been acquired by a VC, who believed that marketing should be outsourced and that they would not be bringing me on. After a few choice words on my end, they apologized profusely but because I had already put in my notice, I was left without a job or income for several weeks until I had another job lined up. I explored suing for damages, but the offer sheet has a arbitration clause in it and ultimately the financial loss was not enough to justify hiring an attorney. If you receive an offersheet from this company, DO NOT sign it.
