Interview
A 15 minute HR screening call, a one hour interview with hiring manager, then an interview with team members. And then no updates after that.
Must enter 30 words but I have nothing else to write about this process.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a recruiter. She canceled on me not once, but twice, 5 minutes before each interview and with absolutely no explanation. I should've withdrawn my application after the first time but went ahead with the process anyway (for some reason).
During the interview she never acknowledged or apologized for canceling on me and was very curt. I asked her a few questions about the role and she told me she would not answer anything about the job responsibilities and I would have to wait to speak with the hiring manager about that. It was also pretty clear that she had not read my resume before the interview started because she couldn't answer why she had selected me for an interview.
After the interview she tried to ghost me but I followed up numerous times and finally she replied saying that I had not been chosen to move onto the next round and that she had already sent me a rejection email and that perhaps I was just not paying close enough attention to my email - I check my email numerous times per day, including my junk mail; I think she was just angry that I had essentially called her out for ghosting.
When I received the initial interview request I was excited because AIP seems like a great place to work and the mission is laudable. However, this recruiter tarnished my view of the company and I won't be applying there ever again.

Nice interview. First round was with HR and the second was with the department head. The vibe was casual and nice. They value company culture a lot and they were very welcoming.
